We are Prairie Fire Alpacas, located 45 mins west of Saskatoon. We currently raise 35 alpacas here on our farm!! We shear them once/year and have various items made from our alpaca fibre. We have a "Little Country Alpaca Gift Shop" on our farm!!

SASKAPACA is your East Central Saskatchewan's source for quality alpaca fibre products. We raise some 100 alpacas and offer beautiful natural alpaca yarns as well as hand-crafted fibre creations.

Alpaca is extremely warm and soft. It is 5 - 7 times warmer than sheep's wool and 3 - 5 times stronger. Unlike sheep wool, it doesn't have lanolin and is naturally water resistant.
